If approaching Conwy from the east along the A55, take exit 18 (from west take exit 17). Go through the town and immediately after the arch in the town walls on the Bangor road, turn left, along the outside of the town walls, uphill (Mountpleasant) past the car park on your left.
At the top of the hill, new building is taking place (early 2011) on the site of what was the old gym hall. Turn right alongside the new buildings - Stryd y Gwynt (Wind Street) is at right angles to the new cottages.

although remember - the gym / sports hall has now been demolished and new houses have been built on the site.
